Nowadays, many couples are looking for the do it yourself reception. You or a friend have an ipod and can rent a sound system instead of a professional wedding entertainer. However, the key to remember in this whole idea is knowing that their is a distinct difference between an ipod/(dj) and an actual entertainer. The key is that the entertainer is also a coordinator. The entertainer/mc for your special day coordinates with all of your vendors (catering facility, photographer, videographer, florist etc...) to make sure that as part of a team, everything is running as smoothly as possible.
