June kickoff...

The first weekend of June has always been a great Hudson Valley Wedding weekend. In fact, the month of June is always great and keeps us busy! The weekend of June 3 & June 4 was no exception! The month of June also means nearing the end of school, which kicks us into full gear. We get to celebrate with the children and their families one more time before school lets out. Ronnie kicked it off at Nassau Elementary School for their Community Picnic! Mike Russo took the party to Monroe for their annual soccer club party! Mike & Drew party rocked a Hudson Valley Super Sweet 16 in Middlehope, meanwhile, Jon & Andrew pumped up The Grandview for Diana & Michael's wedding with over 280 guests and Vivian Photography! The Hudson Valley's Most Dynamic DJ's were just beginning their fun-filled weekend of events!

6th & 7th Grade Dance - Hudson Valley's Most Dynamic Party DJ's & Services 3/19/10

Van Wyck Jr. High School was the place to be late Friday afternoon/early Friday evening as the student body was ready to party St. Patrick's Day style! What a blast we have with these kids every time out! From all the participation dances like the Cha Cha Slide, Cotton Eye Joe, Cupid Shuffle to the latest hits from the radio these kids love to party and dance! We can't wait for the 8th grade formal next month! Big hits of the night varied from Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" to the New Boyz! 

It's Amazing that this song continues to rock generation after generation!

As always we had a blast with the kids & staff and cannot wait to party again!

Debbie's Suprise 40th Birthday Party! 3/13/10 - Hudson Valley Party DJ's

The question we were wondering was whether or not the party would still be a surprise to Debbie or whether or not she had an inkling of what was going on! We must say that her family did an outstanding job as Debbie had no clue that she would be partying with all of her close friends and family at Uno's in Poughkeepsie on a rainy Saturday night. The weather didn't cause problems though as the Hudson Valley's Most Dynamic Party DJ's were out and about! It was a party from the get go, with Debbie's favorite artist Bon Jovi takin' over! By the end of the night, everyone was dancing and singing on the microphone! We can't remember a better rendition of Meatloaf's "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" than what the party-goers did that night! Until next time...keep shuffling those songs on your iPod..

Alyssa Beiner's Hudson Valley Sweet 16 at The Links at Unionvale 3/6/10

Wow! What a night the Hudson Valley's Most Dynamic Sweet 16 & Party DJ's had at the Links at Unionvale for Alyssa's Hudson Valley Sweet 16! It was a non-stop, fist pumping event that even had Teri from the Links at Unionvale and her staff, as well as Ron Buffone from True Life Fotos rockin' out! Eight Questions to ask when booking your disc jockey - Hudson Valley Wedding & Party DJ's

Hiring a disc jockey or the entertainment for your wedding or event is one of the most important aspects of your function. Let's face it, the music and entertainment provided will have a major impact on whether your  event is considered a success or not in your guests minds.

Here are eight questions to ask when booking your entertainment for your Hudson Valley wedding, Sweet 16, party or occasion.

1 - Do you provide a written contract?
Get your event confirmed in writing. This is important so that terms are clearly defined and you know what is expected of you in addition to what you expect from the entertainment. If they don't have a contract or agreement, keep searching!

2 - Are you insured?
You should have the confidence that the DJ you hire will show up for your event. Insurance will give you protection, and also gives the DJ protection for their equipment.

3 - Do you have backup equipment and DJ's?
This is a huge question! Even professional equipment can fail, through no fault of their own. Don't let this end your Hudson Valley party early! Make sure that your entertainment company brings backup equipment and there is backup DJ in the case of an illness. Many companies will schedule two individuals to work an event, this is a great way to ensure backup DJs. Another way is to ask your entertainer if they are part of the Hudson Valley DJ Association. If they are a part, it allows them to call on many of the top entertainers in the area in case of an emergency.

4 - Do you use professional equipment?
There is a distinct difference between home audio shelf speakers and professional entertainment equipment The equipment a DJ uses should not be something that you know how to set up or use on a daily basis.

5 - Can I choose my own music selections?
Yes, yes, yes! You know your guests best! We are there to fill in the gaps and offer advice when you need it! Many DJs play what they want to hear, and that is the sign of not a good DJ. Be sure to discuss with your DJ your musical selections and how you envision the flow of your function. Let them know if you want them to take guest requests, not to take requests, requests from only certain individuals etc...

6 - How do you dress for the event?
The entertainment & DJ company needs to walk the walk, talk the talk, and look the part for your function, whether it be a prestigious Hudson Valley Wedding, Sweet 16, or backyard BBQ, make sure that they understand the dress code so that they are dressed appropriately and meet your requirements to fit in to the style and flair you have chosen for your function.

7 - Will the music be too loud?
Many prospective clients are always concerned with the level of the music; too loud, too soft, etc.. There is a wide variety of people that are most likely attending the event, and a professional DJ knows to keep the volume level at during those intimate times (i.e. dinner, cocktail hour etc..) and when to crank it up for the party!

8 - So what do you do, just play music?
No! This is the most important reason as to why to hire a professional entertainer! Let's be honest anyone can show up with two iPods and play music. The fact that your professional can play all the music, MC the event and coordinate with all the vendors is a very important part of your day, specifically with Weddings and Sweet 16s. Make sure you have an entertainer who is willing to do the work to ensure that your function is run as smoothly as possible!

2/20/10 Bridget's Hudson Valley Super Sweet 16 at Germania!

Bridget's party we knew it would be a blast... we had performed at her sister's party over 3 years ago! From the get go, the kids were raring to go! We blasted house beats from Angelo Venuto's "Sweet Caroline", Daft Punk's "One More Time", to the Global Deejays, "What a Feeling". These kids came to party at Bridget's Sweet 16 and had Enriquez Entertainment, the top entertainment company for Hudson Valley Sweet 16's with them! The party was non-stop from beginning til end! The place went absolutely wild for Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance"! What a party it was! We had a great time with all of the Arlington High School kids, and hope to see you all again real soon!

Victor's 1st Birthday Party - Villa Borghese,Wappingers Falls

We originally had a few events on Saturday night as well, but they were cancelled due to the pending weather... which never showed! They have been rescheduled though!

This past weekend was an event that we look forward to because we feel as if we are becoming part of the family! We have been in this families (and their relatives) lives for the past few years! Whatever the occasion, we are there! Mike & Andrew had performed at Victor's Baptism this past May at the Links at Unionvale, so it was only fitting that we performed at Victor's 1st Birthday party! What a celebration! The decorations were outstanding, food was fantastic, and we have an AMAZING time leading line dances, playing musical chairs and other games with the kids, and rocking the M.I.C. with Dora the Explorer roaming around! Overall an outstanding event! Kudos to Miguel as our Maitre' D at the Villa Borghese! We always have fun with that Papi! We look forward to working at the Villa Borghese in 2010! One event left for this year... Sara & Matt's Wedding on Sunday 12/27! Stay tuned!

December 11 & 12, 2009!

What a crazy weekend of events!
Friday, December 11th we partied with some of the craziest (in a good way) teachers in the Hudson Valley; the Fishkill Plains Elementary School Staff! We partied at Anthony's Catering in Hopewell Junction with the staff of Fishkill Plains and they kept the party going all night long! It was a great time and we look forward to it next year!

Saturday, December 12th we celebrated Ashley's Sweet 16 at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel! We rocked the party hard all night long and played the hits from the beginning til the end! The lights were flashing, music was bumping, and the dance floor was packed!

Hopefully we will see YOU at an event soon!

Great Weekend of Events 12/4 - 12/5

Enriquez Entertainment continues to be everywhere in the Tri-State area. Friday night we performed at a Holiday Party at Rouge Tomate in New York City. We had a blast working at their venue and hope to work with them more! Big kudos to their event manager Chris for taking care of us all night and an event that ran so smoothly! We will definitely be coming back if you want us!

Saturday night, we were at the Elks Lodge on Route 376 in Wappingers Falls. This event is a yearly holiday party we do for Evans Elementary School, which is part of the Wappingers Central School District! The weather didn't keep anyone away and we had a blast! The teachers breaking it down and knowing all the dance moves to Miley Cyrus' "Hoedown Throwdown" was classic! As always, we had a blast with the staff of Evans Elementary and hope to see you all soon!

Recovering from a Crazy weekend!

So Enriquez Entertainment was out in full force this weekend on Saturday! 

At the Powelton Club in Newburgh, we had Allison Lander's Sweet 16! What an outstanding event! Jared was able to rock this event! The kids didn't want to stop partying! What a blast! Great event planning services by Lady Peas Events! The event started at 5:30 and we didn't stop til 12 midnight! Crazy! 

Meanwhile, MC Magic Mike Russo was out and about at Cosimo's in Poughkeepsie for F.D.R.'s 10 year Reunion! Bringin' back tunes from 1999 was a blast and these adults surely knew how to party! What a great time! See you at the 20 yr! 

Finally, Mike was out and about the the Poughkeepsie Tennis Club for John Jay East Fishkill's Class of 1999 10 year Reunion! The bar was mobbed the entire night! Izzy tore it up to David Guetta's "Sexy Chick" and broke to down old school! The adults brought it back and definitely partied like they were back in High School in 1999! 

What an outstanding weekend of events! Next weekend the holiday parties & events begin! 

Courtney's Sweet 16 - Saugerties

Just got back from rocking Courtney's Sweet 16 in Saugerties! What a blast! Mike and I had a great time with the kids! Grandma was tearing up the dance floor to LMFAO and Britney! The kids were singing at the top of their lungs Party in the USA! They even had the hand signs down! Good times! Destiny's Sweet 16 - 11/6/09

Destiny and her guests were all geared up to have a great time at the Holiday Inn in Fishkill! Keith along with Andrew were rocking the crowd the entire night! You knew it was going to be a fun time when Destiny's mom was tearing up the dance floor to LMFAO's "I'm in Miami Trick"! Balloons and decorations were done by Giftscapes in Hopewell Junction.
